Reclaiming care in times of welfare privatization

1. Artist Responsibilities
1.1. Selected artists must provide a project description, including technical specifications.
1.2. Artists must submit high-resolution images suitable for printing, following the specifications provided by the organizers.
1.3. Artists agree to participate in promotional activities, including but not limited to social media features and press materials.
1.4. Collaborative works are allowed.

2. Funding and Production
2.1. Each selected artist will receive a fee of €2000.
2.2. The organizers will cover all printing costs and handle production.
2.3. Artists will be consulted regarding print quality and format, but final production decisions remain at the discretion of the organizers.
2.4. Travel expenses will not be covered. Attendance at exhibition-related events is encouraged but not mandatory. Artists will be responsible for transport costs for their presence at related events.

3. Exhibition and Intellectual Property
3.1. Artists ensure the authorship, execution, and originality of the works. The exhibition of the works must not infringe on the rights of third parties.
3.2. No signature, stamp or any other identifying mark is allowed anywhere on the entry.
3.3. Artists retain moral rights over their work and full copyright.
3.4. By submitting their work, artists grant the organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, distribute, and display the work for non-commercial purposes, including exhibition documentation, academic publishing, and promotional materials related to the exhibition. This includes both online and offline platforms and publications.
3.5. Artists will always be credited whenever their work is used.
3.6. After the exhibition, printed works will remain part of the organizers’ archive for research and documentation purposes but will not be resold or used commercially.

4. Selection Process and Timeline
4.1. Artists will be selected through a panel based on artistic quality and relevance to the exhibition’s theme.
4.2. The following key dates apply:
Submission deadline: 16/06/2025, 6pm
Selection announcement: 15/07/2025
Exhibition: from 01/12/2025 onwards (subject to change)
4.3. Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
4.4. Selected artists will be notified via email. Failure to confirm participation within 4 weeks may result in disqualification.

5. General Conditions
5.1. The organizers reserve the right to make modifications to the exhibition format if necessary.
5.2. Participation in the exhibition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
5.3. Any disputes will be resolved through discussion between the artist and the organizers.
